  • Salary Range: 68,000 – 84,000

  • Reports To: Chief Development Office

Position Overview

The Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager leads Status: Home’s efforts to secure and steward funding from foundations, corporations, and institutional partners.

This role manages the full lifecycle of institutional fundraising, including prospect research, grant writing, proposal development, stewardship, and reporting.

Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and program leadership, this position builds relationships with new funding partners while maintaining strong stewardship with existing investors.

The role translates program impact into compelling funding opportunities that support housing stability and supportive services across metro Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Fundraising and Grant Development

  • Identify, research, and cultivate funding opportunities with foundations, corporations, and institutional partners

  • Write and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and institutional funding requests

  • Manage the full lifecycle of grants including proposal development, stewardship, and reporting

  • Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar tracking application deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements

  • Steward relationships with institutional funders to encourage long-term partnerships and renewals

Corporate and Foundation Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation partners

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of institutional funders supporting Status: Home’s programs and initiatives

  • Coordinate corporate sponsorships and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the development team

  • Prepare briefing materials for leadership meetings with corporate and foundation partners

Planning and Coordination

  • Work with the Chief Development Officer to establish annual and long-term institutional fundraising goals

  • Prepare institutional fundraising updates and pipeline reports for leadership and board committees

  • Collaborate with program staff to identify funding needs and gather program data and impact stories

  • Coordinate with finance staff to track grant budgets, expenditures, and reporting requirements

Prospect Research and Pipeline Development

  • Conduct research on foundations, corporate giving programs, and institutional funders

  • Identify new funding prospects and develop strategies to cultivate potential partners

  • Maintain a strong institutional funding pipeline and prepare donor profiles and briefing materials for leadership engagement

Data Management and Systems

  • Maintain accurate records of institutional funders, proposals, and reporting requirements within Virtuous CRM

  • Track proposal submissions, grant awards, and stewardship activities to support pipeline management and revenue forecasting

  • Utilize Virtuous to support prospect research, donor segmentation, and institutional stewardship tracking

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of four years of nonprofit fundraising experience with emphasis on institutional giving and grant writing

  • Demonstrated success securing foundation or corporate grant funding

  • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with funders

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling ability

  • Strong project management and deadline management skills

  • Ability to translate program outcomes into compelling funding proposals

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
