Job Description
Position salary range: $80,000-$105,529
Position reports to: Director, Strategic Partnerships
The Growth Operations Manager’s primary responsibility is to operationalize Teaching Lab’s strategic growth priorities by owning day-to-day execution across market research, outreach, partner engagement, and the systems that drive pipeline development. Along with Strategic Growth, Program, and Strategy & Communications team members, the Manager, Growth Operations will also hold responsibilities in the following areas:
-Leading early-stage market entry research and producing clear, actionable market briefs to inform go-to-market decisions
-Executing and tracking outreach for priority market initiatives, including building contact lists, managing sequences, and monitoring performance
-Owning conference strategy and planning as a growth lever, including recommendations, schedules, and briefing materials for attendees
-Supporting opportunity research and business development enablement by ensuring accurate CRM tracking and delivering targeted memos in response to leadership needs
-Contributing to cross-functional tools, templates, and shared processes that strengthen go-to-market execution and institutional knowledge
The Growth Operations Manager role is an individual contributor-level position with no management responsibilities. This role is essential to ensuring disciplined, data-informed growth execution across new and existing markets. Success in this position requires strong judgment, initiative, rigorous research and synthesis skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or a related field.
-At least five (5) years of experience with Go-to-Market Strategy
-At least two (2) years of experience with Business Development Enablement
-Skills in written and verbal communication, budgeting, and project management

-Advanced degree in business, communications, education, or a related field
-At least two (2) years of business development experience within the field of education
