Position salary range:  $85,000 - $95,000

Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Position Summary
Black Voters Matter (BVM) is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Individual Giving Manager to lead strategies that grow and strengthen our individual donor program. This position will be responsible for cultivating and expanding BVM's small donor base, managing donor engagement campaigns, overseeing donor stewardship efforts, and supporting fundraising initiatives that advance the organization's mission.
The ideal candidate is a strategic fundraiser with experience in donor cultivation, digital fundraising campaigns, donor database management, and relationship building. This role will work closely with the Development and Communications teams to increase donor engagement and revenue through innovative fundraising strategies.

Core Responsibilities
1.Cultivate and expand a portfolio of individual donors contributing up to $10,000 annually through strategic fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and data analysis.
2.Develop and implement donor acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
3.Partner with the Communications Department to develop fundraising communications across email, social media, radio, and print platforms.
4.Facilitate and manage BVM's participation in employee giving programs, including United Way and similar workplace giving campaigns.
5.Supervise donor administration processes, including donor data entry, donor acknowledgments, and reporting.
6.Coordinate donor stewardship activities and donor incentive programs.
7.Facilitate third-party fundraising efforts, including supporter toolkits, peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, and customized fundraising pages.
8.Support the planning and execution of donor engagement events, both virtual and in-person.
9.Assist donors with stock contribution processes and other giving opportunities.
10.Support broader Development Department initiatives and fundraising activities as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
•Minimum of five (5) years of experience in fundraising, donor development, campaign strategy, or related nonprofit development work.
•Experience managing donor cultivation and fundraising campaigns within a mid-sized to large nonprofit organization, preferably with annual budgets of $5 million to $10 million or more.
•Experience with online fundraising, donation platforms (i.e., ActBlue), and digital donor engagement strategies.
•Knowledge of donor database management and donor tracking systems, particularly Salesforce.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Mail Merge functionality.
•Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to donor stewardship and customer service.

•Commitment to progressive values and social justice causes.
•Experience delivering presentations and facilitating donor engagement opportunities.
