AADO SUMMER 2018 NEWSLETTER
The AADO African American Affinity group at the
Association of Fundraising Professionals
International Conference - April 2018
Dear AADO Members,

As usual, summer is going by too quickly. I hope everyone is taking time away from work and enjoying some fun in the sun with family and friends.

This summer CASE and AADO have been busy planning the 2019 Conference on Diverse Philanthropy and Leadership, which will take place in Indianapolis, April 15-17, 2019. The conference is in partnership with the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy and you
do not want to miss it! Stay tuned for the Call for Sessions and additional information.

I am excited to share with everyone that our AADO membership continues to grow. Since the conference in April, nearly 100 individuals have joined the AADO Network. Our members desire professional development, mentoring, information on job openings, and of course opportunities to network with one another. As a result of the paid job postings, sponsorships, and member donations, AADO can offer membership without charging a fee so no one has to make a decision about joining based on their ability to pay.

Please enjoy this late summer AADO newsletter and remember that we welcome your comments and feedback. Submit your suggestions through the AADO Suggestion Box on the AADO website. We want to know how AADO can support you. Lastly, we need to know more about you so please complete this very brief AADO Membership Survey .

Have a wonderful remainder of the summer!
