Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the University of Louisville in the search for a Senior Director of Philanthropy, College of Business as the university builds towards a transformative comprehensive campaign.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Philanthropy, Schools and Colleges, the Senior Director of Philanthropy, College of Business will be responsible for the creation and execution of a strategic fundraising plan and will be coordinated with the Executive Director of Philanthropy for Schools & Colleges, the Sr. Associate Vice President of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement, and the Dean for the College of Business. This position will play a key role – individually and collectively – in cultivating long-term relationships with donors who have the capacity to make transformative gifts, while leveraging the relationships and vision of university leaders to secure support for strategic university priorities and initiatives. The Senior Director will manage unit fundraising staff professionals, establish objectives and priorities, set performance goals and productivity metrics, and evaluate performance in accordance with PAE staff measurables.

A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience is required for this position. Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience as a fundraising leader in a complex, decentralized, comprehensive university environment, advanced degree, and/or a professional fundraising certification is preferred. The University of Louisville will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $126,000 annually.
